An expert has been defined somewhat cynically (but not
altogether inaccurately) as someone who comes to your place, borrows your watch, tells you
what time it is - and keeps the watch!
Knowing and understanding what your problem is
seems to me to be prerequisite to prescribing a remedy. Thus, I prefer the workshop
format because it can be focused on the specific needs of your enterprise, so
that solutions are to your problems, rather than some slick, one-size-fits-all
panacea.
